Please join us for a fundraising auction and talent show!

This is going to be a fun filled afternoon with fantastic auction items up for bid.

To name a few... Handquilted quilts, salon services and products, gift baskets, homemade goodies, handyman services, carpet and so much more!

We chose the title "Begin The Healing" because this is the point when Sjon will be done with his treatments and can begin rebuilding. We are going to celebrate this new part of his journey.

There will be music by Colton and some of his band members a talent show, speakers and refreshments. Donation at the door is $5.00 and items will be on display for silent bid as well as a live auction.
This is going to be a wonderful day of thanks and love and we hope you will join us on this day!

5k Directions and Schedule

We are getting excited and it looks like there is going to be a great turnout this coming saturday!!!!

Directions to the Dr. Roi O. Hardy park in Riverton for 5k

12400 S  1000 W Riverton

Go to 1300 West then to 12400 South turn east go to 1000 West.
You will end up in the parking lot of the park.  If you end up in the Rotary Park just walk across the bridge just west of that park.  They are almost connected.

8:30 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Registration at the park starts

10:00 a.m. 5k starts

Kids 1 mile starts shortly after

11:00 to 1:00 Lunch will be served and is included with registration

Raffles will be going on and Gamin' Ride trailer will be open just after the race for the day.

Join us September 18th on Sjon's Birthday!

Please join us on September 18th for Sjon's birthday!  We decided this is a perfect day for a benefit 5k walk, run, crawl or cheer as well as a kid's 1 mile walk/run.

This event is open to anyone and the cost is:

• 5k run, walk, crawl or cheer is $25 and includes an I am That I am! bracelet, lunch and drawing ticket for gym membership to Snap Fitness.
• Kids 1 mile is $10 and also includes a bracelet, lunch and a drawing ticket for the Gamin' Ride party.
• Registration is open online for credit cards now to September 16th and will be open at 8:30 a.m. at the park on Sept. 18th we will not be able to accept credit cards at the park sorry.
• To purchase lunch without the 5k or kids registration is $6 per person.
• We will have raffle tickets available to tow beautiful quilts to be given away in December.
• There will be two giveaways the day of the 5k thanks to the wonderful people at Snap Fitness and Gamin' Ride.  A Gym Membership and a Gamin' Ride Party will be given away! 
• You may also purchase additional tickets for the giveaways.

This is an event to raise money for the Sjon Lavery Donation Trust. Sjon was diagnosed with melanoma cancer in June of 2010. All funds raised will go directly to the Sjon Lavery Donation Trust.

Time to gather things up for Saturday!

Hey everyone! This saturday is the yard sale fundraiser for Sjon. We have so much stuff donated for the yard sale IT IS AWESOME!


For anyone who is planning on baking things would you let us know. There have been so many people offer and we want to make sure we get everything gathered up.

You may also bring things by the yard sale in the morning.
We will start setting up at 6:30 a.m. on saturday morning so the sale can start at 8:00 a.m.

Also many of you have offered to come and help set up etc. if you would like to do that please give us a call we would love to have you be a part of this.

Were looking for a pop up tent thing and tables. If you are willing to let us use them for the day.

Thank you so much again for all of the support and help. In something like cancer all of the kindness, love and support are bringing smiles.

I am that I am Bracelets

The bracelets are here!

We asked Sjon if he were to have his very own bracelet what color would it be and what message would he want to share. 

He replied Blue is my favorite color and my message to share would be...

I Am That I Am...

I am all that is, and we are all part of everything that is. When we get in touch with "that" I know we are all one. When I look at the sky, sun, moon, mountains, trees, my neighbor and my children I truly feel that... I. Am. That. I. Am. In the most accountable way.

So we thought hmm... we should use this idea to share Sjon's message and help raise a little money. 
The bracelets are now available for a $2.00 each donation.

Sjon was diagnosed with melanoma cancer in June 2010. Many people who love Sjon and his family are coming together to help start fundraisers to help at this time. This blog is going to be a place to get information about events and updates.
